The 7 Pool Jacuzzi - April 27 2013 (02)

We want to acknowledge the sacrifice and suffering Boots has been enduring as his wife and he wander Grupo Vidanta's spacious grounds at Nuevo Vallarta while recovering from knee surgery. Now, that is devotion to fellow Aimfair members! Let's all give Boots and Marianne High Fives all around!!

Members have asked a number of questions, which we passed along to Boots. Oh, and yes, gljod, the Jacuzzi pools are open and being used. Here are his answers:{DIV(type="blockquote" width="600" bg="lavender" align="justify")}And now for your questions:
  • How is access to the golf course - as confusing as before or are more tee times available now?

We booked over internet late Feb (arrival Apr 20) and received confirmation of 8 tee-off times about 2 weeks later. Not as many games as requested but 8 out of 14 was great. On site this week, we have changed a couple of tee off times directly with pro-shop with no problems. Got an additional time with nothing more than a simple request.

  • Photos of the upper floor units in the Mayan Palace - the two story ones....could they become two bedroom Lofts?

From the photos (when you get them), you can see the upper 2 floors (viewed from Punta) seem to be combined into a 2 storey unit. From the “backside” the tower, the lower of the 2 upper floors have been closed off with block/masonry , making it appear that the lower floor of the 2 upper floors will have a blank wall overlooking the golf course.

  • Photos of the Mayan Palace Plaza - any change there?

Again, photos tell the story…lots of work underway. Sales guy advised that the upper floor is supposed to be a “Ballroom”

  • Photos of the view facing east from the Pro Shop and Gong.....is the water gone?

All gone, and major excavations for future pond areas underway. I need to get a better photo for you, but, attached shot from Starters post shows major excavation underway.

  • Are there any issues with the music coming from the Santuario? We would think the folks in the Grand Bliss would be howling about the noise it there was a problem.

  • I expect that there would be but haven
